How does payment work?
Brian Rental Works requires payment by Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express or debit card to reserve units. Approved commercial accounts may use a purchase order and net terms. Tax-exempt organizations must send an exemption certificate before the invoice is issued. We provide a W-9 and certificate of insurance on request.
Your itemized quote lists the unit type, rental period, servicing, delivery and pickup, any same-day rush fee, and sales tax. You approve that quote before any charge.
How do event rentals and long-term rentals bill?
Event rentals are billed once at a flat event rate that covers up to 3 days, including weekend events delivered Friday and picked up Monday. Long-term rentals bill every 28 days from the delivery date, include weekly service, and renew automatically until you call for pickup.
- The 28-day cycle is not a calendar month. Thirteen cycles cover a year.
- Call at least 2 business days before you want pickup. Billing stops on the pickup date we confirm.
- Extra service visits are billed per visit at the rate on your quote.
What is the cancellation and change policy?
You may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery. Cancellations inside 24 hours, or after the truck has left the yard, may be charged the delivery and pickup portion of the quote. Date and address changes are free when made at least 24 hours ahead.
What are my responsibilities during the rental?
The renter keeps a clear, flat path of about 48 inches to the unit, gives gate codes, and keeps units unlocked or shares the lock code for service days. Units must not be moved by anyone other than our crew. Vandalism, fire, tipping by others, graffiti and loss are billed at repair or replacement cost.
- Normal wear is our responsibility.
- Brian Rental Works is not responsible for damage to lawns, pavers or pavement caused by a placement location the renter chose, beyond normal care by our drivers.
- If a truck cannot deliver because access is blocked, a return-trip charge may apply.
How do pickup and severe weather work?
Event units are picked up the next business day after the event, usually Monday for weekend events. Long-term units are picked up within 2 business days of your request. During hurricane season, June 1 to November 30, we may tie down, relocate or pull units before a named storm for safety.
